Welcome!
Brookline Dance Studio has been operating in Brookline (Pittsburgh) for over 30 years.
Dance Company by Rosanne (formerly known as
"Vella School of Dance") has been operating in Burgettstown and
Cecil for over 40 years.
Rosanne Slifko has operated both the Brookline Dance Studio and Dance Company by Rosanne for over 30 years.
The owner and head instructor, Rosanne Slifko, is a member of Dance Masters of America, Dance Masters of PA. Chapter #10, Dance Masters of Ohio, Cecchetti Council of America and the National Twirling Judges Association. Continuing her dance education is very important to
Rosanne.
(Please read her bio in "The
Directors Chair".)
Proper training in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, and acrobatics are stressed for a complete dance education. Classes are offered for all ages from the beginner through advanced level and for the recreational student as well as the competitive student.

The faculty has
been chosen carefully by Rosanne and is under her constant
guidance. Each teacher is carefully chosen according to the
age of the student and the subjects taught.
Rosanne realizes that most students will not have a career in
dance, but some students will continue to dance after high
school and have dance related jobs. All students will take
with them the benefits of dance training. The self esteem and
confidence received through dance education will last a life
time.
Our goal is not only to train excellent dancers but to instill
the love of the “Art of Dance” to all the students that
pass through our studios.
